Symptoms of Apple's Design Ailment

As I've posted a number of times before, I believe that Apple has lost it's design "vision", and their products are devolving into me-too answers and mass-market gimmicks. Take for example, the Touchbar on the Macbook Pro. It's not hard to see that the Touchbar is a useless POS, and more of a gimmick that a functional tool.
